This year, Resolute Education forged a significant partnership with Oxford University Press, with the shared goal of advancing robotics and coding in education.
Together, we undertook a nationwide campaign to increase awareness and engagement in these subjects. Behind the scenes, our academic teams diligently crafted enhanced textbooks and workbooks, now available in both English and Afrikaans for students from Grade R to 9.
This effort serves to bridge the world of coding and robotics with traditional educational materials, establishing a sense of familiarity for students, parents, and educators.
The inclusion of coding and robotics in textbooks and workbooks has several compelling advantages. First and foremost, it fosters accessibility and comfort, making these cutting-edge subjects less daunting for all involved.
Moreover, these traditional materials offer a structured approach to teaching, facilitating a more effective understanding of complex concepts. They also provide guided exercises for practical application and serve as valuable resources for teachers.
This integration promotes consistency in educational curricula, ensuring equitable access to these crucial skills.
In summary, this initiative unites the future of coding and robotics with conventional educational materials, creating an environment where students, parents, and teachers can confidently embrace these subjects.
It not only enhances the learning experience but also promotes equality in education by providing a standardized approach to coding and robotics instruction. To find out more, head to https://resourcehub.oxford.co.za/coding-robotics/
