We proudly embrace the mandate for Coding & Robotics in our schools. This milestone marks our achievement and a significant leap forward for our nation's education. It signifies reaching new heights in education—a ladder we've diligently climbed for so long.
As Coding & Robotics become mandatory, we are committed to supporting South African educators with the resources they need to thrive.
Our platform offers a wealth of resources specifically designed for South African educators:

As the foundational phase curriculum is unplugged, Grade R-3 does not require any of these. However, the intermediate and Senior Phases require computer labs, robotics kits, and Microbits. Software like Scratch and Makecode is recommended, and equipment needs are outlined in the CAPS documents.
Both private and public schools can receive training through Resolute's Professional Development courses or the free courses on our Code the Nation platform. Additional training can be arranged by contacting Resolute directly.
Assessments in the Foundation Phase are continuous and involve practical tasks, observations, and worksheets. The CAPS document can be accessed on the DBE (Department of Education) website or on our Code the Nation platform.
Students can participate in competitions like Resolute Roboticon and the World Robot Olympiad, where they can showcase their skills. Schools can also facilitate local projects and events to encourage student engagement.
Schools can use affordable or DIY kits, share resources, and integrate robotics with other subjects to maximise use. Open-source tools and community engagement also help reduce costs and ensure inclusivity.
