No prior experience is needed. Our training is designed to support educators at all levels, guiding you through each step.
You can earn SACE points by participating in our accredited workshops and termly webinars and completing our Educator training course. In order to be able to earn points, attendance will be taken, and a register will be signed at the end of each training activity (workshop, webinar, and overall course), and ensuring we receive your SACE number.
Depending on the offering, you will gain experience with our very own block-based coding platform Resly, Scratch, Micro:bit, Arduino, and text-based coding.
Our webinars are live, allowing for interactive sessions. However, recordings are available for later viewing if you miss the live session. You will be required to complete a webinar quiz as part of the necessary steps to obtain your teacher training certificate at the end of the year.
Our self-paced courses include high-quality video lessons, quizzes, and comprehensive facilitator resources and guides to support your teaching journey.
You will need to complete a baseline assessment (at the beginning of the year) and Endline assessment (at the end of the year), attend all 4 termly webinars, complete your primers, and attend a 6-hour training workshop for the stream you are working with. Please note that each stream has its own set of termly webinars, a primer course, and its own 6-hour workshop.
