Resolute Education has been announced as one of HundrED’s Most Innovative Education Solutions for 2025 at the Annual Summit in Helsinki, Finland, on the 12th of November. This honour isn’t just an accolade; it’s a testament to our commitment to bridging the digital skills gap and empowering educators and students with the tools they need for a technology-driven world.

This journey started with an unexpected encounter at BETT in London and has culminated in our inclusion in a global network of educational pioneers.

The Path to the Global Collection: From BETT to HundrED

In January, our team was exhibiting at BETT in London, representing South Africa in the heart of one of the world’s largest EdTech events. It was there that we met a HundrED Research Advisor, Frederika Warren, who took an interest in our work.

She was curious about our role in South Africa’s education landscape and why we had chosen BETT as our stage. Through that conversation, she introduced us to HundrED’s mission and encouraged us to apply for the HundrED Global Collection 2025. This unexpected opportunity set us on a path that has since evolved into a major milestone for our team.

Why the HundrED Global Collection Matters

HundrED, based in Finland, is dedicated to identifying and amplifying innovative solutions that address the most pressing challenges in K-12 education. Each year, HundrED’s Global Collection highlights 100 educational innovations from around the world, chosen for their potential to make a lasting impact and their adaptability across diverse educational settings. This collection is more than a list; it’s a global platform for change-makers to collaborate, share insights, and inspire others to rethink education.

Being included in this collection is significant. It means that Resolute Education has been recognised as a solution that can scale globally while meeting real educational needs. Our mission—to equip students with digital skills and prepare them for careers in technology—aligns closely with HundrED’s focus on impactful and scalable innovations.

How HundrED Evaluates Solutions for the Global Collection

HundrED’s selection process is rigorous and involves a network of educational experts and practitioners known as the HundrED Academy. Each innovation is evaluated based on three main criteria: impact, scalability, and alignment with current educational needs. 

Solutions that make it into the Global Collection must demonstrate a proven ability to foster student growth and adaptation, the flexibility to integrate into varied educational contexts, and the potential to address universal challenges in education.

As one HundrED Academy Evaluator noted about Resolute, “This innovation effectively bridges the digital skills gap by equipping educators with cutting-edge resources and training. It prepares students for future careers in technology, enhancing their adaptability and problem-solving abilities.”

Our model’s scalability was also noted: “Resolute Education’s high scalability score is due to its flexible, adaptable model, which can be tailored to various schools’ needs. Its no-code to code transition, extensive resources, and classroom management system ensure seamless integration.”

Recognition of Resolute’s Impact and Scalability

Our scores in HundrED’s evaluation process highlight both our impact and our capacity to scale. The attached chart demonstrates how we ranked in the Academy review, underscoring our strong position on both scalability and impact. Achieving high marks in these areas reflects our dedication to creating an adaptable educational solution that doesn’t just work in one place but has the potential to transform classrooms worldwide.

Being selected for the HundrED Global Collection is a significant milestone for us at Resolute. It validates our work in providing a structured, accessible pathway for students to transition from no-code to code, a journey that not only builds technical skills but also fosters problem-solving and critical thinking.
