Foundation|12 December 2024
As we wrap up another year of challenges, growth, and triumphs, we at the Resolute Foundation take a moment to reflect on 2024, a year filled with meaningful connections, bold initiatives, and inspiring collaborations that have strengthened our resolve to transform education in South Africa.
This year brought us closer to the heart of our mission: empowering under-resourced schools with access to tech-based education. Visits to schools like Thandulwazi and Batho Pele Christian School and Centre for Autism Research and Education were powerful reminders of why we do what we do. We saw firsthand the untapped potential of young learners who, given the right tools and opportunities, can achieve remarkable things.
A standout moment for us in 2024 was partnering with the Department of Education. This partnership marks a critical step forward in embedding coding and robotics into the curriculum of schools across the country. Together, we’re building a future where every learner has the chance to thrive in a world increasingly shaped by technology.
But as much as this year has been about reflecting on our successes, it has also been about dreaming boldly for 2025. In the coming year, we plan to launch coding and robotics clubs across South Africa, creating spaces where students can innovate, explore, and grow. These clubs will be the foundation of our flagship initiative: 10,000 Students, 10,000 Futures, which aims to bring life-changing educational opportunities to underserved communities.
As we move forward, we remain deeply committed to collaboration. Partnerships, whether with schools, educators, or organisations, are at the core of what we do. Every relationship we build takes us one step closer to ensuring that South Africa’s youth are equipped with the skills they need to shape a better tomorrow.
Here’s to a fruitful 2025, one that we hope will be filled with even more milestones, more stories of impact, and more lives transformed through education.
